Three Rivers Performing Arts Institute presents virtuoso chamber music all year long. The result of a fertile collaboration between a number of local, music-loving citizens, Three Rivers is one of the few places on earth where you can hear Beethoven, Bach, Brahms and the entire range of classical music’s most inspiring compositions throughout the year in an affordable concert schedule.
Three Rivers Performing Arts Institute hosts two main events: The Winter Concert Series, now in its third year, and Concert on the Grass, whose origins date back 30 years. Three Rivers Performing Arts Institute also serves as part of the support staff for the Center Stage Strings Music Camp & Festival.

David Requiro - Cello Jennie Jung - Piano Saturday, April 6, 2013, 7 PM Winner of more cello competitions that we can list here, in 2008 David Requiro won the Naumberg Prize for cello, which the New York Times calls "the most prestigious competition of them all." Mr. Requiro has soloed with the Tokyo Philharmonic, the National Symphony Orchestra in Washington, DC, the Seattle Symphony and many others across North America. When he performs, his cello becomes an extension of his body, producing an agile, fully shaped, honeyed tone that flies from the strings as if it were always there waiting for that perfectly nuanced bow to liberate it.
